Help requested from Erica Amende, Secretary, Spen Valley Civic Society
Thanks to volunteers’ amazing labours, we’ve finished the hard landscaping and now need your help to actually plant trees at the Jo Cox Community Wood!
We’ll be taking delivery of trees in November and need to plant them quickly to give them the best chance of thriving.
If you can help, please join us on SUNDAY 24th NOVEMBER from 12.30pm onwards. Bring a spade if you can – don’t worry if not – and wear stout boots/wellies and warm clothing with gloves.
We’ll provide hot drinks and biscuits.
Feel free to bring a friend too!
