School Children Plant 8000 bulbs

The project contributes to B-Lines an initiative to create insect pathways and linking existing wildlife areas together and at the same time adding a splash of colour to the area.
The bulbs are spring flowering and will provide a rich nectar source for pollinators.
As well as school staff the children we’re supported with volunteers from Mirfield in Bloom and Ravensthorpe Residents Action Group. A big thank you to all involved especially the children who worked so hard to plant all those bulbs over a couple of days.
