New bird and bat boxes at Toftshaw Pit Hill.

As part of mitigation at Toftshaw Pit Hill, Northern Gas are providing and putting up 6 bird boxes and also putting up 6 bird boxes provided by the ‘Friends’. These will give much needed nesting and roosting facilities for a range of birds from bluetits to woodpeckers. In addition, Northern Gas will be supplying and erecting 3 bat boxes.
