KWLP Conference 16 April 2016
KWLP Conference 16 April 2016

81 delegates attended the conference at the Methodist Mission. We hope that everyone will look at the action plan for green spaces and feed back information to enable us to progress it. We thank our speakers:
Ali Stopher – Kirklees Environment Partnership (KEP)
Jeff Keenlyside – Environment Alliance
Chris Dean (Wildlife and Biodiversity) – Moors for the Future Partnership
Rob Dalby (Outdoor Recreation) Kirklees Council
David Watson (Active Travel) Sustrans
Simon Lyes (Woodlands) Colne Valley Tree Society
Tim Duke (Parks and Open spaces) Rectory Park Friends Group
Ama Chaney (Local Food) Grow to School
Jeff Keenlyside (Water resources and Waterways) Greenstreams and David Pinder -Mirfield Promenade

We are very fortunate in Kirklees to have such a diverse and interesting countryside but it essential that it is looked after and wildlife and biodiversity is protected.  The delegates represent all the organisations who give their time freely to protect our environment.
