Meet the Funder – BLF Reaching Communities
The Meet the Funder event is a FREE event run by the Big Lottery Fund in partnership with Third Sector Leaders to provide information about Big Lottery Fund’s new funding approach in the Yorkshire and Humber area, including Kirklees. This event is for voluntary organisations, community groups, charities and social enterprises in Kirklees who have:
been unsuccessful with a Reaching Communities application, and/or
had an Awards for All grant and are thinking about applying for their first Reaching Communities grant.
There will be two events one held in North Kirklees and one in South Kirklees
17th January 2017 – Thrive @ Connect Housing, Bond Street, Dewsbury WF13 1AX 11am to 3pm
24th January 2017 – Brian Jackson House, New North Parade, Huddersfield, HD1 5JP
Hear about Big Lottery Fund’s vision of putting people in the lead and meet local staff
Hear from a new Reaching Communities grant holder
Networking with other local groups
Time for questions, including one-to-one’s
If your organisation has already had a Reaching Communities grant this event is probably not the right one for you. Don’t worry though, we will have an event later in the year to give our existing grant holders the chance to network and share learning.
