Heritage Lottery Fund Workshop for Community & Arts Organisations
Thursday 9 June, 10am – 12 noon at Heritage Quays, Huddersfield University, 9 Queensgate, Huddersfield, HD1 3DH
As part of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) programme of general advice and support, a 2 hour session is offered including a presentation and Q&A, delivered in partnership with Kirklees Council’s Creative Economy Team.
Heritage is broader than you think, including archaeology, the natural environment, memories, cultures, places and identity and the arts can be a useful tool for engaging people with heritage. This session will act as an introduction to the Heritage Lottery Fund, cover the different funding streams and programmes available, highlighting how heritage and arts can work together, and you will also get the opportunity to ask any questions and hear examples of previous successful Heritage Lottery Fund funded projects. There may also be an opportunity for some 1-1 sessions at the end of the workshop.
Places are reserved on a first come first served basis and must be booked in advance at the Eventbrite link below. For further information on the Heritage Lottery Fund go to https://www.hlf.org.uk
