The Lepton Village Preservation Society

We are set up to improve the environment of Lepton Village for its residents and we have already done much to achieve this, including:
1. We have so far been instrumental in persuading Kirklees to rejuvenate the Lepton recreation ground and this is now being done.
2. Planting Lilac trees in the memorial garden of the local Methodist Church.
3. Planting snowdrop, crocus, daffodil and tulip bulbs around the village centre including the recreation ground. We involved Rowley Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School children.
4. Removing litter and weeds from the centre and creating multiple flower beds.
5. Providing three planters.
6. Obtaining funding for seats and Village Name stones.
