EPIKS (Environmental Projects in Kirklees)

EPIKs delivers environmental projects so that people can get better access to green spaces on their doorstep, engage in active travel and take action for the local environment.
We have regular outdoor volunteer work parties and work in partnership with community groups and businesses. This helps us to get the best local knowledge and impact from our projects.
We improve access to the Colne riverside by creating and maintaining footpaths, cycle routes and green spaces. We improve habitats so that people and wildlife can thrive, and enhance sites with seating and signage and regular litter picks.
Our e-bike and e-cargo bike schemes help to combat pollution and congestion and take action for climate change.
