The aim of Natural Kirklees is to get everyone involved in helping to care for their local natural environment, through understanding, connecting, involving, volunteering and shaping the future of Natural Kirklees.
As a Charitable Incorporated Institution our Objects are specified as:
- To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Kirklees by encouraging biological diversity.
- To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment.

There are lots of ways you can get involved in helping improve your local areas. Through this website and our Facebook Page we will promote lots of events and projects happening locally, which in conjunction with partners like Kirklees Council, you can get involved with.
So if you fancy getting out there and enjoying your natural surroundings we’d love to hear from you.
Natural Kirklees Trustees
As a CIO, Natural Kirklees is run on a day to day basis by its Trustees. Trustees are elected at an Annual General Meeting of its members in line with our constitution or co-opted by the existing Trustees, between these meetings should the need arise. As at 1st October 2020 the Trustees are:
